« The Symbol of Victory and as a Symbol of Hope » – the Prespa Peace Award of the Tsipras Institute at « No Other Land »
The Prespa Peace Award will be awarded at the 2nd International Conference on the Republic and Social Justice of the Institute of Alexis Tsipras.
It will be awarded by the Alexis Tsipras Institute to the two Palestinians (Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal) and the two Israeli creators (Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor) of the award -winning documentary « No Other Land ».
The Prespa Peace Award for 2025 was designed by the distinguished designer, artist and designer, Eugenia Manolioudakis.
The hand is imprinted with the Niki signal, linear in the area, inspired by the work of Yiannis Psychopedis, which is also the signal of the International Conference, and will be received by two of the documentary creators: Basel Adra and Yuval Abraham.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 10, at the Athens Concert Hall, in the « Nikos Skalkotas » hall. The event will start at 15:45, broadcast live and admission is free to the public.
The prize is made of recycled aluminum, molded with the traditional sand method. The prize material, as well as the way of casting, are inextricably linked to the values that the conference on sustainable development advocates.

What does the creator of the prize mention
« I wanted the prize to reflect this deeply common human existence. The symbol of Victory to function at the same time as a symbol of hope, ”Ms. Manolioudakis points out.
Concerning the message it sends through its creation, the distinguished artist, designer and designer notes that « peace is not the result of silence, but a meeting. And art is one of the strongest places of this meeting « and emphasizes that » art – true, fearless art – does not build walls, builds bridges. «
According to her, « the fact that the Alexis Tsipras Institute chose to award the Prespa Peace Award to these four people – two Israelis and two Palestinians – embodies an extremely rare moment: a moment when the common struggle for the truth goes beyond the truth. »
Studying at Jewelery Design & Sculpture London Guidhall University, Ms. Manolioudakis combines in the creations of sculpture, object design and applied art, with an emphasis on aesthetics and functionality.
In 1996, she founded with her brother, Andrea Manolioudakis, M Art, an innovative company that combines art with education, design and charity. M Art has organized numerous exhibitions, art workshops for children and partnerships with companies and organizations in Greece and abroad, promoting the idea that art can be integrated into everyday life.
