The sword party has a group again, but Radostin Vasilev fell out of the parliament’s leadership
After six days of debate and tension, the sword party today has a parliamentary group again. This happened after two new MPs were given oaths. These are Ivan Ivanov, chosen by Lovech and Plamen Petkov, aired by Montana. They were declared by the Central Election Commission (CEC) as elected after the decision of the Constitutional Court to annul the election of 16 MPs.
170 GERB-SDS MPs, « We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria », « Revival », « BSP-Volida Left », « There is such a people » and MRF-DPS approved the proposal of « There is such a people » to create a new parliamentary group of the Sword. Only one Member of Parliament was against it, and two abstained. The MRF-New Home did not participate in the vote at all.
As the old group did not recover but a new one was created, the party MPs lost their positions in the leadership of the parliamentary committees, and Radostin Vasilev was no longer deputy chairman of parliament.
Natalia Kiselova denies the allegations of pressure, the sword group will be restored
The vote is to be subjected to the proposal to be re -elected to the post, but it probably will not gather enough votes. Most deputies agreed with the finding of BSP MP Dragomir Stoynev that Vasilev has no qualities to occupy the post.

Stoynev accused Radostin Vasilev of his party being guilty of the situation. The sword leader also did not retreat from his position and announced that Natalia Kiselova « is a mafia cannon, such as BSP »
The leader of the GERB-GDS Boyko Borisov also criticized the actions of Radostin Vasilev. He told reporters in parliament that he supported the restoration of the parliamentary group of the sword. Meanwhile, on behalf of the MPs, « we continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria » Bozhidar Bozhanov has announced to Nova News that the coalition has many other criticism of the government, but supports it and encourages it to follow the line for Bulgaria’s admission to the euro area. « In this line of thought, we cannot support the vote of distrust initiated by the Revival, » he added. Bozhanov recalled that « we continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria » has given the cabinet deadline by the end of June to adopt the necessary laws guaranteeing the granting of the next tranches under the recovery and sustainability plan, and if that does not happen, will submit a no -confidence vote.
Kostadinov promised more vots of distrust
Revival leader Kostadin Kostadinov has announced that the whole parliamentary group of « Revival » has signed under the request for the vote, as they have done from « greatness. »
« The vote is not mathematically. But the fact that it cannot pass does not mean that we should not bring our motives and not present our arguments, » Kostadinov summarized. He explained that the vote of distrust was the strongest instrument on the part of the opposition and it would be used in the future because there was no sector in Bulgarian politics that was not harmed.
