The Swiss Hockey Team Games with Latvia mostly include NL club representatives / day

Continuing preparations for the World Cup, Latvian hockey players will host the Swiss in the Xiaomi Arena on Thursday and Friday, with both games at 7.30 pm.

The only Swiss national player who doesn’t represent any of the NL clubs is Dominic Egle, who plays in the Swedish Championship. He did not win the semi -finals with Frolund’s playoffs.

At the beginning of the week, five « Davos » joined the Swiss national team for training, who defeated Zurich’s « Lions » represented by Rudolf Balcer in the Swiss Championship semi -final, goalkeeper Sandro Ashiman, guard Michael Fora, Sven John and attackers Simon Knak and Andreas Ambil.

In preparation for the World Cup, Latvian hockey players beat Austria in the first two test games, but played two matches against Finland in Riga, first winning by 3: 2 and then losing by 1: 4.

After the preparation phase, the Latvian team will meet with the Norwegian team after match with Switzerland in early May.

The 2025 World Championship in May will take place in Stockholm, where the Latvian team will also play, and in the Denmark city of Herning.
