The suspect in the Pori Market Square admitted that he had set fire to the tent – caused a risk of explosion

Police has completed a pre -trial investigation where the sales tent burned at the Pori Market Square last August.

A man in his early twenties suspected of the work has admitted that he has set fire to a fire, says Southwest Finland police in his announcement.

Police have also suspected another man, but his identity was not survived during the pre -trial investigation. According to police, this man’s share of the events has been significantly lower than the suspect.

In a fire There was a significant risk of explosion because there were gas cylinders in the sale tent at the time of the fire.

In August, police reported that, according to the information received during the pre -trial investigation, the ignitors tried to detonate the gas bottles consciously.

The explosion could have caused damage to up to tens of meters to buildings, parked vehicles or pedestrians.

The case was investigated by destruction and theft. In addition to the fire, low -value property was stolen from the tent.

The case is transferred from the police to the prosecutor for prosecution.
