The student threw a tear gas at the school in Trilj, the principal revealed: ‘He is now on the police with his parents’

They examine the cameras and try to find out exactly what happened and how the student brought the tear gas to school, Davor Hrgovic, VD Director of the Trilj Elementary School, told us at about 2.30pm, where a dangerous incident occurred on Friday morning.

On the first vacation, about 8.45am, two students, both 2010 years, fought in one toilet, after which one of them activated a sprayer with a tear gas. The irritation gas spread across the school, which is why about ten students asked for medical attention. A large number of children and school staff complained about the symptoms of exposure to Suzavac, including coughing, eye irritation and breathing difficulties, the principal, who immediately suspended teaching, informed his parents and sent all the students home. An ambulance and police were invited to the school.

– Fortunately, no injuries, after examination at the local ambulance, all were released home. No one was supposed to go to the hospital. A student who activated the tear gas is currently with his parents in questioning at PP Sinj – Hrgovic told us, adding that tear gas has spread only through that part of the school.

It is unofficially learned that the tear shop has purchased through the internet, but the police will only announce if this is the case and how he managed to enter a spray to school.

– Classes will continue on Monday if there is something unforeseen over the weekend – Hrgovic told us.
