Most of the students, even if she never talked to Mrs. Małgorzata, she certainly associated her. A 53-year-old woman worked at the Porter’s Law Department. Every day, many people pass through the Maximum auditorium, because there are not only lecture halls in the building, but also a post office, which is used by students and all university employees.

The unimaginable drama took place on May 7 at 18.50. Mieszko R., a 22-year-old third year student of law, pulled the ax and threw himself at the porter when she closed the door in the building. He asked her a series of blows, including the head, receiving the chances of saving. The woman died on the spot.

Seeing what was happening, an employee of the university guard was the first to move towards the attacker. Unfortunately, he was also seriously injured. In a serious state he was hospitalized with cut wounds of both hands and head.

He defended his friend with his bare hands. This is a great deed. He stood up for man’s respect for man, he showed great humanity. We will appreciate the act our employee made – says the rector of the University of Warsaw, Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak.

As the rector explains, it was not entirely known if the man would survive. – We visited him in the hospital and when we talked to the doctor around 22.30, the situation was uncertain – explains the professor. – Fortunately, we now know that his condition is stable – he adds.

At the same time, the university announced that she would not leave a murdered woman without the help of a family, especially her 13-year-old daughter. – I assure you that the university will do everything to be looked after in every respect – assured prof. Nowak.

Investigators at the attack site appeared after only four minutes from the signal. The killer first went to the detention center, and the next day he heard allegations: murder, attempted murder and insulting the corpse.

It turned out that on the day of which the crime occurred, the man first appeared in his hometown of the Tri -City, and then came to Warsaw and moved around the campus. He had a copy of Confucius, knives and bayonets with him. It was also established that until now the man did not use the help of a psychiatrist, and in the last year no one prescription was issued in his name.
