Then they wait for water quality from hygienists and open.

In the summer, however, the Eastern people will pay extra this year at most swimming pools. The operators have significantly increased the cost after the state has increased value added tax, and they also added to them transaction tax.

« We are also preparing a novelty, which will be extending the area towards the lake. This will only be for the summer season, but the swimming pool will offer more space in the shade under the trees. Mostly mothers with children and seniors look for such positions, » explains Ferencz.

He adds that they will build mobile or disassembled fencing, which will expand the area by about 1,200 square meters. The capacity of the swimming pool, which is 1,200 seats, does not increase, but the comfort is certainly.

« The capacity is dependent on the size of water bodies, the number of sanitary facilities and the like.

The costs have risen significantly

We were wondering what prices the public could expect this season. The prizes at the city swimming pools did not change last year, the basic all -day ticket on Rumanová cost 8 euros and at the Red Star they asked for the same ticket 9 euros.

According to Ferencz, they are not yet known, but according to calculations, their increase would certainly help. However, this must be decided by the city.

« We do not know how it will be. I suppose we could learn within two weeks. The discussion with the owner, the city, has been in progress, with the fact that costs have increased significantly, » says Ferencz.

It specifies that one of the biggest problems is an increase in VAT, which has been changed from the original 10 to the current 23 percent for the swimming pools. These relaxation zones are already losing thirteen percent of sales compared to last year.

At the same time, the minimum wage increased by nine percent.

« Not to mention the transaction tax and other costs, that is, for all swimming pool operators and swimming pools, the cost of this year has increased significantly. Anyway, we do not want to go the way of saving costs in connection with the shortening of operating time or season, » explains the administrator.
