The state borrows from Romanians. What interest rates offer
The Ministry of Finance (MF) launches the fifth Fidelis edition of 2025, which will take place between June 6 and 16 and will offer interest of up to 8.35% on shows in lei and up to 6.50% for those in euros, while blood donors will be able to buy government securities with a due 2 years.
According to a statement of the MF, transmitted on Friday AGERPRES, those who want to invest their savings in the Fidelis program, the June edition, will benefit from attractive and non-taxable interest on 8.35% broadcasts-with a maturity of 2 years, for blood donors, of 7.35%-with the due 2 years, by 7.70%-by 7. with maturity at 6 years old. For the Euro shows, the interest will be 3.90% – with a maturity of 2 years, 5.60% – with a maturity of 5 years and 6.50% – with a maturity of 7 years.
« The special tranche of fidelis government securities, issued in lei, dedicated to all those who prove the blood donation starting January 1, 2025, will have an interest of 8.35%, with the maturity at 2 years. The new structure of the Fidelis program, together with the Tezaur program, which includes maturity of 1, 3 and 5 years, offers investors and those who want to save by government securities the entire palette of maturations, from 1 to 7 years, with options in both the national currency and in euros.
Those who invest in the fidelis government securities enjoy facilities such as the possibility to sell the titles before maturity, receiving interest related to the period of detention according to the price received on the stock exchange, not to file the income obtained as a result of the holding of the titles and the flexibility in the administration and diversification of the portfolio.
The nominal value of a Fidelis state title is 100 lei, for the show in lei, and 100 euros for the show in euros, and the minimum subscription threshold is 5,000 lei, respectively 1,000 euros.
According to MF, the figures of the four editions of 2025 prove the increased interest of Romanians for the saving method proposed by the Ministry of Finance, given that the total amount invested exceeded 9.2 billion lei, the subscription orders reached 97,822, the number of donors – investors at 13,827, and over 1.039 billion donors-investors.
