The son of the CIA’s deputy director lost his life in Ukraine fighting for Russia

The twenty -five -year -old American, Michael Alexander Gloss, signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and lost his life fighting in the war against Ukraine in 2024, the Russian independent Istoria portal reported.

What makes history even more incredible is the fact that his mother, Julianne Gallina Gloss, is the deputy director of the CIA for digital innovations.

According to data from the Moscow Medical Data Management System (EVI), which was made public, Gloss signed a contract with the Russian army on September 5, 2023, writes Theguardian.

GLOSS was registered in the system by employees of the Center for Recruitment of Soldiers by Contract in Moscow, and as a residential address – just like for hundreds of other foreign volunteers – the address of the center was marked. In the same space, medical examinations for recruitment candidates are also conducted.

According to a source close to Gloss, the US citizen was sent to the offensive units in December 2023. At that time, the 137th regiment operated in northwest Solredar in the Donetsk region.

Gloss lost his life on April 4, 2024, a fact confirmed by the death notice published by his family. The exact details of the circumstances of death are not known. According to funeral data, he was buried in the United States eight months after his death.

Michael Gloss is one of the more than 1500 foreign nationals who passed through the Moscow recruitment center during the Ukraine war, whose identity was discovered by Istoria.

According to the portal data, mercenaries from a total of 48 countries, including European Union member states and the United States, have joined the Russian side of the war. /Telegraph/
