The Socialist Party in Spain is pressed by its own – accused of looking for « dirt » by police and judges

The scandal broke out when the newspaper El Confidencial in two reports claimed that the Socialist Party has a special « plumbing unit ». The unit should have the task of finding « dirt » that can be used against the police and judges who investigate the corruption goals against Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s wife Begoña Gómez, against his brother David Sánchez and against a couple of other PSOE members.

The head of the « plumbers » is said to be Maria Leire Díez Castro, who is under Santos Cerdán, the Prime Minister’s confidant and everything.

In two audio recordings, Díez Castro Lova is heard by entrepreneurs convicted of the millions of millions that they will avoid their fines and their prison sentences if they can obtain information that can damage Antonio Balas, the head of the civilian guard’s department for serious crimes. « Balas must be removed, » says Díez Castro on the audio file. In another audio file, one of the « plumbers » says that « behind Díez Castro stands the Prime Minister and Santos Cerdán ».

The first reaction of the party was To deny all knowledge of Díez Castro. She has no information in PSOE, it was called. But pictures of her in the company of the prime minister, and on her way in and out of the party headquarters on Ferraz-street in Madrid has forced a new version: Leire Díaz has on its own initiative, without informing the party, started the campaign against the energetic police chief Balas and other officials-an explanation that has gained a few.

The party’s most popular politician after the Prime Minister, the Regional President of Castilla-La Mancha Emiliano García-Page, demands that the party go to the bottom of the deal and get rid of those who violated the law:

– The party is delayed with resolution measures, which is disappointed our followers.

Manuel de la Rocha, one of the party’s « historical » leaders, who lived in exile during the Franco dictatorship, says at X that « Leire Díez must be fired immediately and the entire deal is being raised ». The daily newspaper El País, who is very loyal to the prime minister everyday, has put pressure on him in several long articles.
