The « Skampa » theater shows that « what without the priest » in an extraordinary public reception

The « Skampa » theater in Elbasan has successfully brought the comedy premiere « What Without the Servant », a work by British author Joe Orton, under masterful Kiço Londo.

Elbasan art lovers have enthusiastically followed a show that masterfully combines absurd humor with the shocking reality of human relationships.

Famous names of Albanian theater such as Helidon Fino, Egla Ceno, Linda Jarani, Mario Elezi, Angel Hoxha and Livjon Aliaj, who with their brilliant interpretation have given life to the complex characters of Orthodse.

They bring a gallery of characters that fluctuate between madness, desire and absurdity, making the public laugh, think and reflect.

A hotel employee involved in the intrigues of a strange psychiatrist, a naked secretary hidden behind the curtain, an elegant and immersed lady, illegal hugs and a surreal fantasy professor, intertwine with the entrance of a police officer … In the background, the thick fog of churches adds.

This premiere is another testimony of the vibrancy of artistic life in Elbasan, which is being developed with the dedication of the artistic director of the « Skampa » theater, Kliton Kapaj.

Thanks to his work and the team of actors and directors, the « Skampa » theater remains a landmark for culture in the city and beyond. « What he saw without the clergyman » will appear on « Skampa » until May 16th.
