The situation requires radical action
Significant sources need to be restricted to the use of apartments in short -term rental, establishing a lease brake, narrowing the utilization of residential housing for brackets and investments of chemicals and significantly strengthening public housing support. These are among the measures that the Board of Directors requires the government.
The Board of Directors of the Union Efling yesterday concluded the state of the housing market. In the resolution, the dark outlook for the housing market is drawn up and the government is demanded for the actions promised in the government’s covenant.
« A new report from the Housing and Civil Engineering Agency shows the serious state of housing and the dark outlook ahead. Housing prices and rental prices have risen more in this country than in all European countries in the last decade, and far above the annual wages of workers.
« Doesn’t cost the government »
Then it says that because of this, the government needs to respond to radical action:
« Significant sources need to be restricted for apartments to be used in short -term rental, especially in the capital area. Then the lease brake must be established, narrowing the utilization of residential housing and investment of chemicals and the public housing support significantly.
The restriction of short -term rental and the implementation of the lease brake does not cost the government nothing, and in addition, the lease brake is an important tool in the fight against inflation. «
Reference is made to the fact that housing prices have risen far in excess of wage terms.
