The ‘shakes’ did not want to buy in Croatia until they found the ‘real’ leader: there were problems

I can’t actually go wrong with that. Replay is an integral part of the program of all our public television, but sometimes there are when they are welcome. Recently, in fact, what kind of program products, replay are more and more desirable. And the « zicer of all the rpm » with which I cannot go wrong, then when they reprise it. « Muts« 

The adventures of the Trotter brothers from Peckham, not the elite part of London are unbearable. And the start has said that John Sullivan’s work should have a well -deserved place in history. And there is. Somehow he agreed with the BBC to start filming the series, but there was no enthusiasm at the beginning. The state of the nation in the UK in Era Margaret Thatcher was not at a level, and this also reflected the viewership of the series. The Trotter brothers and their mostly failures did not initially attracted the audience. But when it started, in some parts of England, the current disappeared when they broadcast « mushrooms ».

The head of the house, capable of a derek, or del Boy Totter, plays David Jason, who has found inspiration in a real character from the plot he remembers from his childhood. He upgraded it a little and we got a chohtapler who drinks cocktails, says French, who « learned from the Citroen manual » and likes to follow the situation on the world stock exchanges. Nicholas Lyndhurst plays his somewhat confused brother of Rodney, who, in truth, has a small graduation from fine arts and mathematics, but in their imaginative business, it is not, at least it seems at first, of great help. The characters in the first episodes of the grandfather (Lennard Pearce), later Uncle Albert (Buster Merryfield) are important, as well as Roger Lloyd-Peck, and Boycie (John Challis).

It is a picture of a society with which it is easily identified in these parts, so it is not surprising that, apart from England, in this part of the world they are one of the most popular series. And there was a problem at the beginning, at least in the « Croatian part ». As the then editor of the program Đelo Hadžiselimović once explained to us, they did not want to buy the series until they found a « real » translator, who would be able to transfer their dictionary to these parts in the right spirit. Then they found Tomislav Piska and, in the past, bought the series. He lived from the ninth to the 18th in London and, as he himself said, was in his soul partly « Koknijac ».
