These pupils’ community, with the help of parents, create traditions that help children develop citizenship, kindness, awareness and responsibility for their actions.

On Thursday, the Light community celebrated its stay together at Kaunas Cultural Center Girstutis, where the smallest three -year -old pupils and the fourth -graders will leave school. Parents volunteers, teachers and students walked along the corridors of the Cultural Center, and the hall was filled with the audience – the closest and most precious people of the children. The performances were amazed at the diversity that intertwined with contemporary music and folk dances. The manifestations of the integrated faith, when the children were singing unanimously at the « church » « , were also forgotten. However, perhaps the biggest effect was created by the « Light » anthem proudly performed by children and parents. According to one of the moms, who emphasized that its fourth offspring is currently attending this institution, the anthem words symbolize the values ​​that unites all those around them, so its performance is like a ritual without which no celebration can be started.

Symbolically, the celebration was crowned by the Lights Awards. Lights are children who are best fulfilled in this educational establishment declared and presented with values. It is like the honorary citizens of the town whose example infects helps. Director Erika Vaidelienė reminded that the three -year -olds who come to this community grow up and bring light further, so it is very important to grow happy, brave, civic people who will be the foundation of our society.

According to the members of the community of the institution, Kaunas school-kindergarten « Light » proves that the school is not just teachers and children. It proves that an educational institution is a community where the values ​​grafted with people travel with people for life, and the word « I » appears for the word « we ».
