The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) decreased the meeting on Monday, the first after the first round of the presidential elections, and the value of the transactions rose to 133.187 million lei (26.758 million euros), from 35.82 million lei (7.2 million euros), in the meeting on Friday.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the regulated market, has been depreciated by 2.88%, to the value of 16,645.36 points, and Bet-plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares in the stock exchange, closed by 2.89%.

The Blue-Chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, recorded a decline of 2.81%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, decreased by 3.09%.

The BET-BK index, the investment funds wind mark, has descended by 2.52%, and BET-GN, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, recorded a decrease of 2.70%.

The BET Aero index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AER market, has closed with a depreciation of 2.31%.

The most liquid titles were those of Transylvania Bank, with transactions of 50,038 million lei, followed by Hidroelectrica shares, with 2.928 million lei, and of OMV Petrom, with 9.265 million lei.

The best developments were recorded by Carbochim (+8.61%), Bucovina – Mountain Club (+7.33%) and Erste Group Bank (+6.06%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by Promatris (-14.73%), Electrocontact (-8.26%) and Transilvania Insurance Broker (-78%).

The scholarship has reacted negatively to the result of the elections, and the volatility could manifest itself until the result of the Tour II of the presidential elections, but it cannot be spoken of panic, the brokers consulted by AGERPRES claim.

George Simion, the golden candidate, obtained 3,702,889 votes (40.94%), at the first round of the presidential elections, followed by the independent candidate Nicușor Dan, with 1,894,259 votes (20.95%), shows the data announced on Monday by the Central Electoral Bureau, after counting 98.52%of the valid votes.
