The Russians damaged the Sophia Cathedral and the Odessa Film Studio at night

As a result of the night attack, the explosive wave was damaged by the Sophia Cathedral, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and the Odesa Film Studio was injured.

Details: Specialists of the Reserve, together with the investigative group of the Shevchenkivsky Police Department, conducted a visual examination and fixation of the condition of the object. The interior of the monument did not suffer. However, any vibration load caused by explosions can pose a threat to the integrity of the monument structures, which is constantly in high risk due to regular massive attacks of the enemy on the capital of Ukraine.
The Odesa Film Studio – one of the oldest cinematographic centers in Europe, has also shot. The scenery to the national movie « Dovzhenko » dedicated to the prominent Ukrainian director was completely destroyed.
The fire was eliminated through the prompt actions of the security, it was possible to save most unique artifacts. There were no casualties among workers. At the same time, the civil infrastructure of Odessa: residential buildings, medical institutions. One of the film studio workers lost his own home this night.
What was before: As a result of a massive Russian attack at night on June 10 in Kiev affected 4 people, damaged houses, business center, warehouses and railroad, were destroyed, and about 10 fires have occurred-some of them still extinguish.
