Bucharest, BRATISLAVA. Two things were clear to many political scientists before the Sunday’s presidential elections in Romania – this is the most important vote since the fall of the communist regime, and their anti -system candidate wins.

Future Romanian President Dan is a former mathematician and a well -known activist. He fought especially for preserving historical monuments and green areas, which he said, destroyed real estate magnates with ruling politicians. The mayor of the capital has been since 2020.
His most prominent difference from Simion is that Dan is a pro -European politician who supports EU military assistance for Ukraine.
