The Red Boys disassemble disappointing Berchemers
Everything was prepared for the big showdown: On the last day of the Axa League matchday, the all -important encounter occurred on Saturday evening. The HC Berchem and the Red Boys met in the direct duel in Crauthem. The winner would secure the master crown.

But if you had hoped for an exciting and maybe dramatic argument, you were disappointed. The Red Boys took the defending champion with 38:25 (17:13 during the break) and thus defended their leadership in the table. The HC Berchem was just ten minutes. Then the Differdinger took control and should never be obtained again. It is the first championship title for the Red Boys since 2016.
The Differdinger from coach Nikola Malesevic were better in all areas. Goalkeeper Chris Auger regularly brought Raphaël Guden and Co. to despair, the defense was very aggressive and almost everything worked on the offensive. Almost every attack ended with a goal. Brice Aillaud was the most accurate shooter with eleven goals.
In a strong season, the Berchemers were rewarded with the triumph in the Supercup and the Cup victory.
