Prof. Kralov resigned as a rector before the General Assembly convened in order to recall. Motives

Prof. Kralov became an illegal rector of the Technical University of Sofia in 2019. In the re -election, the General Assembly again appointed Prof. Krelov as Rector, this time without violations.
In the months before this repeat election, millions of salaries were distributed at the university as additional remuneration – Prof. Panov reported again. In response, Academician Denkov appointed an audit. The inspection confirmed that in two months and ten days, nearly BGN 3.5 million had been received at the university over salaries in the form of compensatory measures due to the coronavirus pandemic. For 2022, when the audit report came out, Prof. Krailov declares income in the amount of over BGN 340 thousandor on average nearly BGN 29 thousand. The professor also declares BGN 410 thousand in bank deposits.
