The Recirquel troupe is already trying to produce the latest immersion
We have already written about breathtaking performances of the Recirquel troupe: Paradisumwhich is a piece of dynamics in which you need to be immersed, and it happens unnoticed. He works slowly between the climaxes, so the applause can capture the viewers quite a cathartic feeling. Because in the beginning I felt like I was waiting and waiting for the attraction, the rhythm of the show had completely sucked at the end passes splashed lavishly out of the artist genre’s astonishing stunts.
The Recirquel Society founded in 2012 Bence Vági He is now one of the leading teams of contemporary performing arts in the world. Recirquel is the most sought after Hungarian cultural production abroad: it presents hundreds of performances every year at the most renowned theaters and art festivals worldwide from New York to Edinburgh to South Korea. The unique form language of the company, combining circus, modern and classic dance, Cirque Danse, is marked among others My Land (2018), the Solus Amor (2020)that IMA (2022) and the Paradisum (2024).
No one is prepared for the new production
Walk My World is also diverse in genre: more than twenty circus genre and various dance styles – contemporary, ballet, urban dance forms – mix. The scenery of the performance was dreamed up by the creative team of the Recirquel Society, under the leadership of Bence Vági.
The production develops ancient mythological story – a detail of Virgil’s epic, Aeneis – and re -tells Aeneas and Dido’s tragic love story in a modern, motion -based theatrical form. The narrative unfolds not linearly: viewers can track events or even an exciting character in their own pace by roaming dozens of separate space.
As the artistic director of Walk My World put it It’s like letting viewers into the lion’s cage: The boundary line in the theater becomes a camphor, so participants will have a very unique experience. In terms of scenery, we will also see grandiose elements in the Walk My World Universe from November: A real city will rise in the Millenáris Great Hall.
Parkour
The performance includes Parkour, as well as a rare special form of exercise presents a crutch performer – based on Bill Shannon’s American choreographer technique that combines the language of street dance and contemporary movement. In the production training process, participants participate in acting and movement training, including former artists from Brazilian Grupo Corpo.
The performance of the performance is the Millenáris Great Hall, where the performance will take place on about six thousand square meters in more than forty different spaces, giving viewers to experience events from close -up. The production will be on display since November 2025, with tickets available on the official website.
The rehearsals have begun
The rehearsals of the performance have already begun in Budapest, which is considered one of the largest European immersive productions. The actors of the performance came from four continents: A total of twenty artists and dance artists are involved in the project, who has been selected during a selection process for several months.

According to Bence Vági, mythology still lives with us – often even without noticing. He said that myths were the foundations of European culture and that ancient stories, symbols, and fears were recorded, which instinctively affect us. Out of more than 900 applicants, the production players were selected on strict considerations: « We were looking for dancers who are able to move as artists and artists who can exist as a dance artist. » The goal was not to present simple stunts, but to find a physical expression that can truly tell a story.

The preparation procedure requires precision and routine: “You need to find the head of the head of the origin”says Esther, because if the balance is not perfect, it can be painful and even lead to injury. And the experience of hanging on hair is surprisingly physical at first:

According to the artist, the full world of Walk My World offers something that the audience wants to see over and over again: « This is a show that one will want to come back to because you can’t discover it once. It will always be different. »
