The Public Prosecutor’s Office will test new suspicions against Fico’s advisor Lindtner

BRATISLAVA. Testimony of a former member of the mafia group of Titmies about the alleged dark past of the current lawyer Direction David Lidtner will be addressed by the prosecutor’s office.

Last week, the SME daily reported that an unexpected situation occurred in one of the cases of the Titmouse gang.

David Takáč, a former member of the group, testified as a witness. Among other things, he also spoke that sometime from 2009 to 2010 he was personally present at the bribery of Lindtner.

The former judge Lindtner now mentions Direction as a possible candidate for the future Attorney General. The first week’s vice -chairman of the party was the first to come with this idea Erik Kaliňák. Testimony in court

The witness Takáč in court testified that Lindtner had been bribed at the time when he was doing a chauffeur to a former member SIS Ľuboš Kosík. However, he said nothing closer to it.

« The suspicion of crime has been resigned by the relevant regional prosecutor’s office for further proceedings, » said spokeswoman Zuzana Drobová.

New investigation

The police should thus hear the witness Takáč in a closer look. On the basis of the information it provides for her, it will decide on the next procedure.

Lindtner himself is also considered. The hearing of Kosík, for whom Takáč worked at that time, would be problematic as he has been staying in Mali, Africa for a long time.

According to the results of the investigation, Kosík was one of the actors of the kidnapping of the President’s son in 1995. In the period that Takáč testified, he also moved in the circles of the underworld.

The editorial office was talking to Takáč last week. But he did not want to comment on anything. Lindtner has not yet answered at the request for an opinion.

Time -barred

Kosík in a telephone interview confirmed that Takáč was doing a chauffeur in the past. He also confirmed that he contacted Lindtner. He refused that he would ever bribe him, explaining that he was friends.

« We were in a friendly relationship with the then judges David Lindtner and Richard Molnar, as we were all from Ivan Lexa. We didn’t need to deal with anything through bribes, » Kosik said. Lindtner did not help much either.

Kosík also questioned the time when bribery, according to Takáč, was to occur. While the witness at the court spoke about 2009 to 2010, Kosík claims that his contacts with Lindtner are related to the period around 2013.

If there was any corruption then, the case would be time -barred today. The basic limitation period for corruption crimes is five years. Apparently, Lindtner can no longer be prosecuted.

The shift, however, would only be if the witness Takáč in the testimony of relations from the past revealed something more.

Dubious possessions

At that time Lindtner was a judge at the District Court in Pezinok. Later he worked out at the President of the District Court Bratislava III.

In 2019, it was rolled over that he was one of the judges who communicated intimately with the convicted entrepreneur Marian Kočner.

Lindtner continues to be interrupted, which means he could still return to the talle in the future.
