The PSOE and its partners reduce discrepancies on military spending | Spain

The debate was aroused by two initiatives, both mere statements without any effect beyond the political pronouncement: a non -law proposition of the PP focused on the support of Ukraine and the NATO arms reinforcement, and another of the BNG, forceful in its rejection of both the Von der Plan to read and “any increase” of military spending and in advocating by the dissolution of the Atlantic Alliance. The greatest proposed modification is to replace the reference to the output of the alliance for a more generic adhesion to a « autonomous » and « disconnected NATO » European security model. The debate was opened by the popular Borja Sémper, in defense of his non -law proposition, with the clear purpose of underlining the discrepancies between the usual parliamentary support of Sánchez, whom he recriminated that he intends to approve the new games for armament « behind the back of this congress. » Sémper proclaimed that supporting the Ukrainian government « is not an option, it is a moral duty. » And that gave rise to attack Vox – a day after having personally defended the pact with that party of the Valencian President, Carlos Mazón– For his support for Donald Trump despite the approach of this to Russia.
