The President’s office did not find the reasons for which this law in the approved version could be contrary to the Slovak Constitution or the European Rights.

By signing the law, Pellegrini, according to opposition progressive Slovakia, joined the undemocratic steps of Robert Fico’s government. According to the movement, it wasted his unique opportunity to be ranked among the protectors of the fundamental rights and freedoms of people in Slovakia.
