The president reveals what he talked to Trump

President Nicușor Dan said on Wednesday, asked if he had a phone conversation with the American counterpart, Donald Trump, that he did not dismiss or confirm this.

« There are telephone calls as it was with Mrs. Der Leyen yesterday morning that was agreed before what is communicated, there are other telephone calls, so I do not confirm, not dismiss, which I will not agree and then I will not comment, » said Nicușor Dan, in a statement given to the press in front of the house.

He added that, in the last days, there have been more exchanges on diplomatic channels.

« I think our relationship is in the process of improving, » Dan said.

Asked if he would go to Washington, he replied that when he was invited he would go.

« As our bilateral relationships will progress, we will inform you, » said President Nicușor Dan.
