The polls, as after the rain. Beating on the first two places
President of Gold, George Simion, and the general mayor of the capital, Nicușor Dan, are on the first two places in the electorate preferences for the presidential elections in May, with a difference of three percent between them, according to an IRSOP survey conducted between 4 and 14 April.
According to sociological research, 31% of Romanians replied that they will vote with George Simion, if the elections for the position of president were the next day, 28% with Nicușor Dan, 18% with Victor Ponta, 17% with Crin Antonescu, 4% with Elena Lasconi. The other candidates-Cristian Terheș, Lavinia Șandru, John-Ion Banu-Muscel, Silviu Predoiu, Daniel Funeriu, Sebastian Constantin Popescu-would meet 2% of the Romanians’ preferences.
Ask who would be the most capable of the candidates to increase the well -being of people, to fight corruption, to be a strong leader, to promise, to maintain the stability in the country, to support the business environment, to strengthen the position of Romania in the EU, 27% of Romanians indicates George Simion, 20%, 20% on Victor Ponta Elena Lasconi, and 15% said I didn’t know.
The sociological research also concerned the opinion of the interviewees regarding the parties. In terms of gold – 34% have a pretty good opinion, and 63% not very good, PNL – 26% a pretty good opinion, 70% – not very good, UDMR – 26% a pretty good opinion, 66% – not good, USR – 25% a pretty good opinion, 70% – not very good, can – 22% a good opinion, 64% – not too good, Hi, and SOS Romania – 13% a good opinion, and 81% – not very good.
For this survey, IRSOP interviewed 1,030 people by telephone, between April 4 and 14. The sample has been representative for the population in Romania for over 18 years. The sampling tolerance is +/- 3%. The survey represents a public information service fully funded by IRSOP.
