The Polish woman died at Olympus. Shocking details and recording of a rescue operation
The tragedy took place on the steep slope of the Olympus massif on April 22, but only now details about the accident have been given. According to Greek media reports, the rescue operation was attended by, among others Two helicopters of the Greek Air Force. Despite the efforts of lifeguards, the woman’s life could not be saved. The body was found near the Agapitos mountain hostel, about 400 km north of Athens.
Flashnews.GR website informs that the woman slipped and fell into the abyss, dying on the spot. It was a tourist’s first fatal accident at Olympus in 2025.

She went on a trip with a group of friends with whom she for years organized similar trips. According to one of the participants, Małgorzata was not in the best shape, and her fall was the result of an unfortunate twist.
