In Transcarpathia, police opened criminal proceedings against a 37-year-old man who brutally beat a horse.
The animal was confiscated and sent to the rehabilitation center, reported In the press service of the Transcarpathian region.

Police found that the incident occurred in the village of Gati of the Berehiv district in Transcarpathia. Employees of the Berehiv District Police Department searched for a man who appears on video.
He was sent to the police department and reported suspicion of ill -treatment with animals (Part 2 of Article 299 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of this article provides from three to five years in prison with the confiscation of the animal. He will soon be elected a preventive measure.
