Everything happened on Wednesday evening, May 28. 23-year-old The Pole traveled Slovak Pieniny, when his body said « enough ». After a full -day journey in the area of Dunajec, he felt bad. – He was extremely exhausted and weakened. Help was necessary – report Slovak mountain rescuers.
Slovak rescuers moved with help in the area of the Dunajec Borch Rescuers of Horska Záchranna Služby started to the action – This is the equivalent of our mountain rescue service on the Slovak side.
The published photos show how the 23-year-old lies on a forest road, surrounded by a first aid kit and rescue equipment.
The young tourist rescuers gave medical assistance on the spot. They gave medication and made sure that he could safely continue the road. Then they transported him to the border, where they had already taken over Polish rescuers from GOPR.

Everything ended happily, but the rescuers have no illusions: mountain hiking can be bone. You need to measure your intentions, prepare well, take the right amount of water and provisions. Exhaustion comes faster than it seems, and then you really don’t need much to end up in the tragedy.
