Gunn H. Strand has lent us this poem that fits nicely to May 17, 80 years after.

The poem was written by his father Aksel Strand when he celebrated May 17 in Botnhamn in 1945. He then lived on Kvaløya in Troms.

– My parents, like many others, had refugees living with them, says Gunn.

It goes over land a trick in thousands of free flags.

The beginning was a shower, which rises to Storm today.
