The patient breaks the apparatus and attacks the nurse. Police without arrest
Two days after the patient murdered Dr. Tomasz Solecki, there was another in the attack on medical staff. This time in the railway hospital dr. med. Włodzimierz Roefler in Pruszków. On May 1, an aggressive one of the patients who had been in the ward for several days began to break the medical apparatus to which he was connected.

The nurse tried to stop him. Then the man directed aggression against her.
– One of the friends from this department, when she noticed that something was going on with a patient, she went for a doctor. But at that time he threw himself at the second nurse. He hit her with his fist in the face, and when she fell over, he continued his beat – says Zofia, the chairwoman of the Mazovian National Trade Union of Nurses and Midwives.
The police intervened on the spot. A 26-year-old Ukrainian citizen was detained, and then-after hearing at the police station-released home.
The police explain the decision
According to the commissioner Jacek Wiśniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters, the man pleaded guilty and heard the charges. Therefore, there were no grounds for the use of temporary detention or other preventive measures.
The officer emphasized that all necessary activities were carried out, and the man’s identity is known to the police. – At the moment there are no premises for further arrest – explained the commissioner in an interview with « TVN24 ».
