The opposition destined to lose, we are not at war. We have alliance with citizens

SP Secretary General Blendi Klosi is of the belief that there is no internal war within this political force. This, calling it different as a competition that serves everyone to do their best during the election campaign for the May 11 parliamentary elections. For him in this campaign they have chosen to be alone in the battle for another electoral mandate. The opposition for him has lost the sense of winning in the election. Emphasizes the fact that the Democratic Party has ended in factions, reinforces the idea that the opposition is scattered and cannot be trusted.

« I think the word war is not right, it is competition and it is quite acceptable, quite normal. There are 40 days of competition and the race is with the Democratic Party, with the opposition. Of course our race is a race we have determined from 2017 to be on the list.

We are in alliance only with the citizens, not with other parties and therefore, clearly in this campaign, we are facing all other camps, new oppositions or old oppositions. There is fair competition within the socialist camp, which if you look at the other side does not look.

So it is difficult to look at the prominent figures of the Democratic Party race throughout Albania in certain circles, in Tirana, which is the main battle. It is hard to find figures they have, let’s say, local reputation or that they have a voice let’s say known in public, names that people can refer to, right -wing voters can refer.

So the lack of this kind of internal and positive competition will affect the maximum outcome of the Socialist Party’s votes in the districts, but also in a deficiency of the opposition camp that again failed to come up with them let’s say their internal conjunctures, ”-said Klosi.
