Šurany. The Slovak-Chinese company GIB Energyx Slovakia, which wants to build a factory in Šurany for the production of electric bouts, applied for a building permit for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and water management buildings.
It estimates the cost of construction of these buildings at EUR 39.5 million. As such, it wants to pour over 1.2 billion euros into the flashlight as such from 2024 to 2028.
« In connection with this investment by the end of 2027, 1311 new jobs will be created by the end of 2027, » the building permit application says.
Opponents: It’s shocking information

At the same time, it recalls that in the case of Industrial Park Šurany, this is a heavy chemical industry, which should be subject to environmental impact assessment, ie the EIA process.

And suddenly the investor suddenly asks for a building permit. Even MH Invest and Gib Energyx Slovakia call for the exclusion of the suspensory effect of the appeal. This means that it can be built before all the appeals are terminated and the decision will come into force, « the opponents said.

Such an interpretation of the application for a building permit is disagreeed by the State Eseročka MH Invest, which will build an industrial park in Šurany. It is also included in the flashlight.
