ÖVP and SPÖ no longer have the necessary majority of mandate. Since then, the former « Grand Coalition » of the ÖVP and SPÖ has only been available in Carinthia since 2013 (dominated by the SPÖ) and in Tyrol since 2022 (under a ÖVP state captain).

For the Greens, the Burgenland election in January brought a comeback after several setbacks.
