250,000 euros. This is the amount of fraud produced by a 22-year-old Landais, identified as the creator and administrator of Stop-travail.com. At the end of nine months of investigation, the public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan announced this Friday, June 13, his indictment for the chiefs of « (Facilitation) of social fraud », « false in an administrative document », « illegal exercise of the profession of doctor » And « Placement, concealment or conversion of the product of a crime or offense (aggravated whitening) ». The prosecution claims in its press release that the platform « Offer Anyone wishing to get a work stoppagethe possibility of entering personal data fields, reporting codified symptoms and then selecting a doctor associated with his domiciliation geographic area. «  The newspaper South West reported that on April 15, stop-travail.com presented itself as having « 1 million users, 200 doctors listed, a price of “9 euros only” And obviously 100 % satisfaction ”. The platform was disabled the next day.

Between April 2024 and April 2025, more than 42,000 people would have applied for a work stoppage through this, said the prosecution press release. At least 26,000 of them received one after having paid around ten euros each, according to the investigators.
