The old hits are being recorded in Taban

This time it will be no different: anyone who visits Taban on May 2 will listen to mini and LGT songs again. True, just from the speakers, without the stage and the legendary musicians. Nostalgiabuli home with blanket, beer and greasy bread…

The first free beat concert was held in the Tabán district in 1968. At that time, no one had thought that this would become an important stage of cult and Hungarian rock music. May 1 from there from there Tens of thousands of people crowded on the cozy hillside and raged through the free concert with Adam Török, Mini, Gábor Presser and LGT. Later, from the Hobo Blues Band to Beatrice, almost every popular band from the big generation performed. Incidentally, LGT gave Eaz Lős Farewell Concert here on May 2, 1987 in Tabán. This has been almost 40 years ago, and now, thanks to organizer Zsolt Gréczy, on May 2, « Come on, come out on the hillside … »

-The first two days of May will be about LGT. On the first time, we perform with Gábor Presser, the Csík Orchestra and Magdi Ruzsa in Budapest Park, and we only play LGT numbers at a concert. As I hear, there is a huge interestand this is good for my soul, as Loksi does not officially exist, but the band lives in me and many. And the fact that our songs will also play in the legendary Taban on May 2 is a very disturbing experience. Of course, the memories rush. I joined Loksi in 1974, so I first entered the Tabán stage in May ’75. I was there before, right, only among spectators. It was a special venue, and it might be strange to say, but it is one of the most difficult for musicians. There was no regular dressing room, there was no place to tune in to the party, we almost had to get up among the spectators, climbed on stage. Yet these shows remained like a huge, common experience. There, in Taban, for a few hours, he forgot what system and the rules of the game we live in. It also remained that most of the rain was raining. We often soaked with the audience with the audience. But that bothered almost no one. Thanks for the idea, the intention for again mini-and LGT numbers to make this wonderful place loud! And, of course, it would be real if the two bands could stand on stage in full number and summon the legendary seventies live!
