Exactly eighty years after this event, interested parties will be able to see an exhibition of a humiliated tower.

The Nitra bishopric in cooperation with the non -profit organization Castellum has prepared commemorative activities. It commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Red Army Castle.
« The memory will be part of the climb to the Cathedral Tower connected with a commented show. There is also a program for children called in the footsteps of the lost angel, » says the bishopric.

The mascaron found in the ground
The bronze face of the angel (mascaron) was a decoration of the destroyed bell from 16. Twenty years after the tower was sharpened by Milan Truska, a resident of Podzámská Street. He dug the foundations for the garage.

Professor Točka wrote that a significant amount also gave the commission of education, enlightenment and technology. According to the bishopric, the total costs reached CZK 1,385,000.
