The Seska crew, which starts with the Ford Puma Rally1, prepared by the M-Sport Ford during this WRC season, finished in a two-kilometer sprint in two minutes and 23.1 seconds.

The fastest was Toyota Gazoo’s British pilot Elfin Evans, who finished in two minutes and 18.1 seconds, or the stage, five seconds faster than Seska. He was lost to teammate Sebastien Ogeier from France and Estonian Ots Tenaks (« Hyundai Shell Mobis ») for two seconds.

On Friday and Saturday, the stages will start at 9.35 and on Sunday at 8.43. The stage will be broadcast live on Go3 Sport 1.

Ten stages will take place on Friday, on Saturday, the crews will run one sprint and six stages, but there will be six more stages on Sunday.

For four days, the Portuguese ground pavement roads will carry 24 special stages of 344.50 kilometers.

For the Latvian crew, this is the second of six stages scheduled for this season. In the second stage of the WRC, the Latvian crew finished in sixth place in the Swedish rally.

95 crews have confirmed participation in the Portuguese rally, 12 of which start with the leading class Rally1 cars, 55 crews with Rally2 cars, and another 25 crews have a full -wheel drive Rally3 car.

Evans is in the lead after four rounds with 109 points, 66 points for Kallem Rovanperem (Toyota Gazoo) and 59 points for Belgian Tieri Neville (Hyundai Shell Mobis).

Seska ranks tenth with eight points.

This season, the Latvian crew is also scheduled to start in rallies in Sardinia, Greece, Estonia, Finland and possibly in Saudi Arabia. These rallies are mostly gravel.

Seska’s crew debuted the WRC last season, starting in three stages. In the Polish rally, Latvians were fifth, in the first stage of the WRC in Latvia in July – seventh, losing his place on the podium in the last stage, but in the Chilean rally after the emergency, the race was continued for training purposes.

There are 14 stages in the WRC season 2025, with motor racing players competing in Estonia in mid -July.

Last season, Belgian Tieri Neville became the champion.
