The newly elected President of Poland warns of a firm stance against Tusku / day
In his first television interview since Sunday’s elections, Navrocki named Tusk as « the worst prime minister as Poland has been since 1989 » and promised to react firmly and decisively to any provocation.
Against the Left of Tuska, the central coalition, which has been in power since the end of 2023, has a new pressure, as the Conservative Navrockis defeated Liberal candidate and Mayor Rafal Taskovski, a Liberal candidate and Mayor of Warsaw.
Navrock’s victory is likely to make Tuska’s efforts to implement a government program, as Navrock as the president will have the right to set a law for law.
Tusk plans to hold a vote of trust in parliament on June 11 to support his alliance.
During the election campaign, Navrockis, supported by Jaroslav Kaczynski, leader of the National Conservative Party « Law and Justice » (PIS), has already stated that his goal was to overthrow the Tusk government.
However, Navrockis has also promised to cooperate on the most important issues in Poland.
Experts admit that Navrock’s victory could lead to early parliamentary elections.
