The new chairman of the Financial Supervision Commission nominates three of its deputies
The new chairman of the Financial Supervision Commission Vasil Golemansky nominates three of his deputies as part of the regulator update procedure. They are to be heard first in the line budget committee of the deputies, and subsequently to be scheduled in parliament.
The candidates are Diana Yordanova, who heads « Insurance Supervision », Plamen Danailov, who heads « Insurance Supervision » and Denitsa Velichkova to head « Supervision of Investment Activity ».

New term
Golemanski offers a new term for Diana Yordanova at the head of the Social Supervision of the Insurance Supervision Department. She was elected as one by the National Assembly at the end of 2017, and has been expired for two years.
In recent years, she has led other departments because of the lack of deputy chairmen. She is currently responsible for insurance supervision, and within the month in 2019 for the investment.
The main topic in its sector in recent months has been the possible introduction of the so -called multi -multifurns to allow pension companies to invest with varying degrees of risk contributions.

Its nomination is also supported by the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria.
Prior to her entry into the regulator, she was a GERB MP in four parliaments in the period 2011 – 2017.
Political taste
The municipal councilor of « there is such a people » Plamen Danailov was headed by the insurance supervision of the insurance supervision. He was Deputy Minister of Energy in the Petkov Cabinet. In the unrealized draft Cabinet of « There is such a people » since 2021. He has been nominated as Minister of Finance. Prior to entering politics with Slavi Trifonov’s party, he has experience in the private sector as a financial manager of the advertising publicis, the pharmaceutical Astrazeneca and the KAI tile manufacturer.

Denitsa Velichkova has been proposed as Vice-President of the Investment Supervision of Investment Supervisory Department. It is more unknown than the other two nominations. According to her biography, she has 25 years of experience in the legal sphere, and in the last six years she has been the Secretary General of the Financial Regulator, with a public procurement guide in her functions.
She was the head of the political cabinet of Peter Chobanov during his time as a finance minister in the Oresharski cabinet. Almost at the same time it was part of the Supervisory Board of the Bulgarian Development Bank.
