The so -called STEM laboratories on Saturday at 11 a.m. will take place until 8 pm. The purpose of Steam laboratories is to integrate research and innovation processes into real communities and their environments.

Aistė Lukaševičiūtė, the head of the Science Island of Science and Innovation Center, emphasized that various equipment can be tested in the open space.

« We invite you to try out for free paint-smelling physics, biology-chemia, robotics-IT and smart city laboratories. In new discovery spaces, visitors will be able to perform chemical reactions, distinguish DNA samples, study nerve impulse transmission processes, construct and program robots. – said A. Lukaševičiūtė.

True, she pointed out that just a few hours after the registration of free laboratory activities, the place of publication was filled. However, those who are unable to be encouraged are not despised.

« Immediately after the opening, the Steam Laboratories team will be waiting for both classes for school groups and discovery activities on weekends. Everyone will have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and innovative methods to make sure that science actually works.

It is informed that the Stam Laboratory of the Science Island will be operating in two directions – as Kaunas Methodical Steam Center, which will become part of the Lithuanian Steamlt network, and an open -air space for pupils and all visitors.

From 5 pm, visitors are invited to enjoy the musical part of the event, which will take place in an exclusive place – the Great Science Island Amphitheater. Daniel Ocean, Aurea and Refresh, Pakas and Roads are well -known to fans of electronic music.

The culmination of the evening program is the performance of German music engineer Moritz Simon Geist. Robots will combine art, technology and experimental music from 10 pm.
