A huge explosion caused by chemicals probably, killed at least 25 people and hurt over 1,000, on Saturday, in the largest port in Iran, Bandar Abbas, reported the state press in Iran, quoted by Reuters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to help Iran deal with the explosion that shook the country’s largest commercial port and which resulted in at least 25 dead, informs the Kremlin, taken over by Reuters.
Putin transmitted « words of sincere sympathy and support for the families of the victims and his recovery wishes to all the injured », according to the message posted on the Kremlin website.
The flames continued to burn on Sunday in the largest commercial port in Iran, the next day after the devastating explosion of Saturdays with at least 25 dead and 1,000 injured, AFP reports.
The deflagration, which heard within a radius of tens of kilometers, occurred on Saturday around noon (08.30 GMT), on a key from the port of Shahid Rajai, where 85% of Iran’s goods transit.
This strategic port is close to the big coastal city Bandar Abbas, from the Ormuz Strait, where one fifth of the world oil production passes, about a thousand kilometers south of Tehran.
« At least 25 people were killed, » Tasnim reported, citing the head of the judicial power in the province of Hormozgan (south), where the port, Mojtaba Ghahremani. State television also evoked 1,000 injured.

Just Few Hours after the Explosion in Bander Abbas, there was an explosion in the not so distant shahid rajaee port in Iran.
There is no confirmation that the explosions are linked, but the coincidence is suspicious.
