It is a payment provided for the 18-24 contract for volunteers who have entered military service under the age of 25.

In February, appropriate resolution approved Cabinet.

Who can get the payment?

The right to receive remuneration are given to servicemen of ordinary, sergeant and officers of the Armed Forces, which meet the following criteria:

• they were admitted or called for military service during martial law at the age of 25;

• They participated in hostilities in the areas of fighting for at least 6 months (as of February 13, 2025);

• continued service in the army at the time of the government's decision (February 13, 2025);

• have not been brought two or more times to criminal or administrative liability for military offenses and do not have existing disciplinary penalties.

The full amount of payment is also provided for servicemen who participated in hostilities for less than 6 months but were injured or captured (except in cases of voluntary surrender) during the protection of Ukraine.

At the same time, the military who have been dismissed until February 13, 2025 do not have the rights to pay, even if they meet age criteria.

How will they pay money?

The remuneration is paid once for the entire period of service and transferred to the card of the serviceman.

For those who participated in hostilities less than six months, the amount is calculated in proportion: 1/6 of 1 million hryvnias for every 30 days of direct participation in hostilities.

The fact of participation in hostilities is confirmed on the basis of documents, in particular a combat order (order), a journal of hostilities, an operational situation, a combat report or a report of the unit commander.

Payment is made on the basis of orders of commanders of military units. To prepare the staff service, they form a package of documents that includes:

• Handmade lists and service certificates;

• a copy of the track card;

• certificates of participation in hostilities (including previous places of service);

• Certificate of lack or presence of prosecution.
