The military court sentenced the 26-year-old resident of Domodedovo to 16 years in colony

By the 16 years of the colony, with the first three years departure in prison, the military court sentenced the 26-year-old resident of Domodedovo, Grigory Onishchenko, in the capital of the 26-year-old resident. According to investigators, he tried to transfer to Ukrainian intelligence the coordinates of Russian military facilities in the suburbs and border regions, and in addition, planned to join the terrorist militarized formation operating on the APU side.

The process in the case of Grigory Onishchenko in the 2nd Western District Military Court began in February and the other day ended. The defendant was accused of promoting terrorist activities (Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Grigory Onishchenko was born in the Kyiv region of Ukraine, but in 2015 he moved to Russia after his parents and settled in the Moscow Region. In Russia, he served in the army, after which he began to work as a driver of the van at the bakery, and in his free time he was engaged in private car repair.

The defendant began to violate the law on the case file back in 2017. Then, having visited relatives in Ukraine, he purchased an ACC machine there.

He later told investigators that buying weapons in his homeland with the beginning of hostilities in the Donbass was not difficult. Grigory Onishchenko managed to secretly cross the border and hide the machine near the village of New Yurkovichi in the Bryansk region. Then the defendant returned to Ukrainian territory, crossed the border officially, after which he took the ACC from the cache and took it home.

According to the investigation, after the start of a special military operation, the young man began to communicate with representatives of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Those suggested that Grigory Onishchenko determine the exact coordinates of the Russian military and civilian objects, which were supposed to strike with missiles and drones.

At the same time, Grigory Onishchenko himself decided to join the “Freedom of Russia” recognized by the terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation and tried to recruit supporters in Domodedovo.

According to witnesses, in 2023 he formed a group of several people with whom he went to nature to conduct a kind of exercise on military training and acquisition of first aid skills. To conduct classes, he attracted instructor Daniil Antonov, who had experience in his participation. At first he thought that he had to prepare recruits for the Russian army, but quickly suspected something was amiss. He finally understood who he was dealing with, after at the end of 2023, Grigory Onishchenko stated that he wanted to fight power in Russia, therefore he intends to make a sabotage detachment called Sparta, which will collect information about the location of military facilities in the Moscow Region, as well as the Belgorod and Bryansk regions in order to transfer them to the Ukrainian side.

The instructor announced this in the Federal Security Service in Moscow and the region. The counterintelligence officers provided Mr. Antonov with equipment to record the revelations of Grigory Onishchenko. Thus, a conversation was recorded, held in the spring of 2024, during which the defendant stated that he intended to engage in the sending of Ukrainian curators of data on the deployment of several PAPPIR 1C MPRK in the Moscow Region. To collect the necessary information, Daniil Antonov and Grigory Onishchenko went to the VAZ-2106 to the military unit, where the coordinates of combat vehicles were determined using geolocation on phones. However, the witness cheated on them even before sending.

In early May 2024, Grigory Onishchenko was detained and sent under custody.

During the investigation, he fully pleaded guilty and adhered to this position in court. The version of the investigation and witnesses from among the participants collected by Grigory Onishchenko “military training group” collected.

During the debate, the representative of the military prosecutor’s office asked the defendant to be sentenced to 16 years in a maximum security colony. The court ultimately sentenced the government, while Grigory Onishchenko will spend the first three years in prison. In addition, a fine of 150 thousand rubles was imposed on him. The convict’s lawyer has already stated that she would appeal the verdict as excessively harsh.
