The MEP has stated that he would go to Russia to talk about peace and human rights

The MP of the European Parliament from Luxembourg Fernan Cartetzer announced a visit to Moscow at the invitation of the State Duma of Russia, during which he will discuss « Peace in Ukraine ».

The politician confirmed this information Politicoreports « European Truth ».

The Lawzer stated that during his visit to Moscow, he planned to meet with Russian deputies, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Director of the Department of Bilateral Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

« At all these meetings, I will talk about peace in Ukraine. I will also raise the issue of human rights in Russia and, in general terms, discuss the current anxious state of international relations, » he added.

The politician noted that he pays a trip from his own expense, « as the European Parliament blocks the diplomatic efforts of the MEPs of the European Parliament to meet with representatives of Russia. »

European Conservatives and Reformists (EACK) – a political group of the European Parliament, which includes the Bartzer, distinguished itself from his trip to Moscow.

His colleague at the Eurogroup Patrick Yali from the Polish Party « Right and Justice » stated that in the event of a fraudulent trip to Russia would submit a proposal for him to exclude him from the ranks.
