The medics focused on good deeds

Kristina Mažulė, a marketing and communication specialist at this Health Care Center, said that the values ​​of the institution’s employees are not only professionalism at work, but also a sense of family, respect for each other and justice.

There are 21 values ​​ambassadors in the huge group of staff of this center, which are people who notice special attitudes of their colleagues and consider what good deeds can be done together.

« During one meeting, we set out the task once every quarter to do something good not only in the workplace, but also for our center’s environment, hoping that it would be concentrated and fun. We discussed a variety of offers. We decided to support an animal shelter first.

The letters to the campaign, who called on the letters, experienced many bright feelings, seeing how the animals they needed for animals were increasing in the week, and how the sum of the money donated increased.

Many employees of the Seamen’s Health Care Center, who contributed to the campaign, admitted to experiencing joy.

One day, doctors took the animal, textiles, hygiene products and other necessary items to the animal shelter to improve the conditions of animals living in this shelter.

Some employees gave the shelter the items they needed with a special feeling, remembering their recently lost beloved pets, thus a peculiar meaning of their memory.

The staff of the Health Care Center also donated money. EUR 240 will be used to treat sick animals or other necessary shelter purposes.

Galina Kučinskienė, the head of the « Be My Friend » shelter, said that many donors are not waiting for praise or thanks. They just bring gifts, enjoy animals and leave. This is probably what happened with the gifts of the Seamen’s Health Care Center.

Animal support was only reported on the social network account of this center. This is how the most active participating in the campaign was thanked.

« We are going to interact with the volunteers of the Order of Malta. We have already talked to several of them, we have thoughts to focus our future activities with the help of the Maltese, and every employee of our center will be able to contribute, » – said K. Mažulė.
