The match for Finnmark – altaposten.no
I think it is appropriate to draw attention to Irene Ojala’s tireless and clear struggle for Finnmark’s interests in the Storting.
She was selected on the basis of her and patient focus’s commitment to develop and improve the health service for the people of Finnmark. There has been a pervasive argument against patient focus that they have only had one case on the program; « Build hospitals in Alta ». However, no matter how many times one repeats an falsehood, it remains an untruth.
In the work program for the patient focus for the parliamentary period 2021 to 2025, there are no less than 25 cases, mainly of a health policy nature. Many of the cases are important, not only for Alta, but for the whole of Finnmark. Yes, even all of Norway.
Despite this, Ojala has stood straight on the pulpit, time after time, and defended the interests of the Finns in health issues.
It looked like the proposal would get a majority and give a victory to Finnmark. But, unfortunately it was « shot down » at the last minute by the left. Not least, this was a shock to the local members of the Left.
Finally, I want to dwell a little more with the proposal prepared by Irene Ojala and promoted by her with Marhaug and Tybring-Gjedde. Marhaug represents the party in the Storting, which is far left on the political scale of the Storting, while Tybring-Gjedde has its origin in Frp, which is at the far right of the parties in the Storting. Between these we find Ojala, who has never been a member of any political party.
Especially also since Ap and H seem to come together in more and more cases. Could the road ahead in politics be to tone down the ideological principles and strong party management of the Storting? I think many people perceive today’s parliamentary politicians as voting for the central party power, and that in many cases parliamentary representatives must vote against their own conviction. This is because the party dip is on the nap.
It will also result in a return of power from the party offices to the Storting. The Storting should be able to enter the May 17 celebrations with what was a bit of the idea behind the Norwegian Constitution and the political governance that was established; « All power in this hall »!
