The March salaries of health workers 15 percent higher than April and higher pensions for 2,500 denars
Health workers’ salaries for March will be 15 % higher, and by the end of the term they will rise by 40 to 50 percent, Prime Minister Christian Mickoski said today.
Answering journalist questions after a visit to Strumica Novo Selo, Mickoski reminded that the payment of linearly increased pensions by 2,500 denars will begin from April 1.
– The health budget in the Health Insurance Fund (HIF) is historically the highest, 53 billion denars, compared to those 35 that were at Corona’s time of 18 billion more. Debts that the previous government have generated, so generally investing in health care for us are very important – the prime minister said.
Regarding the pensions, he noted that the increase in April is another government promise.
– I would like to confirm that the payment of the linearly increased pensions for 2,500 denars will start from April 1, with those initial increases and this now reaching those 5,000 denars linear increase we promised in the first year. Here, in less than a year, we realize it in nine months. We deliver everything we promised to the citizens and continue to work for the interest of the citizens – said Mickoski.
