The Magna Mechatronics plant begins to work, 600 people will employ

The Canadian company « Magna Mehatronics » yesterday opened its second factory in the country, this time in the Technological Industrial Development Zone in Stip. The investment in the new capacity of 18,200 square meters is 40 million euros and should create over 600 jobs by 2027.
« This year we will finish with 350 employees, 2026 with 440, and then 2027 over 600, » said Magna Mechatronics Director General in Stip, Goran Despinovski.
He noted that the TIRZ-Stip is defended for an investment location on the positive experiences of their factory in Struga, where they have 1,000 employees and an investment of 30 million euros, as well as good infrastructure, good utilities, skilled labor and government support.
President of the Magna Mechatronics Mirors and Latting, Jeff Hunt, has announced that the focus will be on the production of many mechatronic products that provide an innovative approach to clients and better driving experience.
« As leaders in the market of mechatronics, we are excited to continue to develop these products and we will do so on the successful foundation we have already laid here in Macedonia, » Jan said.
According to Uwe Gaysinger, president of Magna Europe, the investment recognizes the enormous potential of this region.
