The LNSO Foundation receives funding for the Children and Youth Integration Program / Day

The aim of the project is to promote the inclusion of children with disabilities and the inclusion of children in the hospital in society through cultural and music activities as a platform for this integration. This will strengthen the formation of an educated and inclusive society, in which all children have equal opportunities for development.

The central element of the project is a concert performance Japanese fairy tale, Who introduces the children's audience to acoustic symphonic music and expresses the message of the importance of equality and opportunities for children with special needs. The theme of the fairy tale illuminates the attitude of Japanese culture towards nature and living creatures, promoting the values ​​of tolerance and mutual understanding.

In the concert performance, together with professional musicians and actors Andris Keīša participates in the Riga 1st Elementary School – Development Center Rhythm Group. Thanks to SIF support, Japan's fairy tale There will be a wider audience throughout Latvia, offering students the opportunity to watch it for free.

In addition to the concert performance, discussions will be organized Integration of children with special needs in society with cultural activities. They will be attended by teachers, social workers and policy makers to raise awareness of society and politics about the importance of the inclusive environment.

As part of the project, LNSO musicians will visit the Children's Hospital, offering children the opportunity to get to know musical instruments and develop creative skills. This initiative will provide children with the opportunity to maintain a link with culture and interest education, despite health restrictions.

The project LNSO Foundation Children and Youth Integration Program 2025 and 2026 financially supported by the Society Integration Fund from the State Budget of Latvia.

The LNSO Foundation was founded in 2015 to promote public involvement in the development of the orchestra. The Foundation participates in social responsibility projects, promotes symphonic music and supports young and existing musicians. Between 2024 and 2029, the Fund focuses on promoting cultural, education and civil society.
