The lion devoured a 50-year-old in his own garden. Horror in Iraq
This story shook the inhabitants of Al-Kufa in Iraq. According to local media, 50-year-old Aqil Fakhr al-Din was massacred by his lion, just after bringing the predator to his home to tame him.

As reported by the « Al-Ghad » newspaper, Al-Din was attacked when he approached the wild animal cage. Then he threw himself at him and torn him with powerful fangs. The lion threw himself on his neck and chest of the 50-year-old, causing fatal injuries. Then, according to the media accounts, he devoured a significant part of his victim’s body.
Aqil Fakhr al-Din was known for his passion for wild and exotic animals. For years, the man was supposed to keep various specimens in the garden of his home, including deadly predators. The lion who attacked him was to go to the 50-year-old about a month ago.
